Virender Sehwag chose his top five batters of the event based on how well they played. After almost two months, the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will end on May 28. In the last two months, the ten companies have been in fierce competition, with some doing better than others. During the game, many batters put on great shows that made them stand out as the best. There have been times when teams fought to get over 140 runs, and other times when they easily got over 200 runs. Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill are both good at chasing, with two and three hundreds, respectively, so far this season.
Suryakumar Yadav, Cameron Green, Venketesh Iyer, Harry Brook, and Heinrich Klaasen all made centuries to beat each other. Also, this was the first time that Yashasvi Jaiswal and Prabhsimran Singh, who had never played for their country before, both got hundreds in the same league.

Notably, Kohli and Gill were not on the list. Instead, the former India bowler named the players who were on the rise.
In terms of the game, the Gujarat Titans beat the Mumbai Indians by 62 runs in Qualifier 2 of the IPL 2023 on Friday. This set up a match between the Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans in the final. Mohit Sharma took five wickets as GT held MI to 171 runs as they tried to reach 234 runs. Earlier, GT made 233/3 in 20 overs, with 129 runs scored by Shubman Gill off of 60 balls.
