India and Pakistan in various ranges for the 2024 T20 World Cup
Regarding the T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian squad has proved to be extremely strong in the three games they have played thus far. India has so far defeated Pakistan, Ireland, and the United States under Rohit Sharma’s leadership, winning each match.
India led the rankings having won three of their four games and amassed six points. The USA, who are the co-hosts and have also advanced to the tournament’s knockout stages, trail closely behind the team.
In contrast, Pakistan, under the leadership of Babar Azam, has had a lacklustre campaign in this edition. Pakistan has participated in three games in the tournament thus far, winning only once. They have lost the other two games, including an upset loss to the United States. The team has been eliminated from the competition for a spot in the Super Eights and is presently sitting in third place in the standings with two points. The Men in Green’s forthcoming match versus Ireland will only serve as solace.
