The Pakistan Cricket Team is having a blast in India as they prepare for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, which will start on October 5. The Babar Azam -led team is experiencing top-notch hospitality from the organizers, who are making sure they enjoy every minute of their time in India. Notably, Pakistan came in Hyderabad on September 28 in preparation for their exhibition matches against Australia and New Zealand.
The World Cup 2023 Captain’s Round table was held on Wednesday, October 4, and all ten participating teams’ captains participated. At the time, commentator and former India cricketer Ravi Shastri asked Pakistan captain Babar Azam if he enjoyed the renowned Hyderabadi Biryani. Babar said that he had already answered the question more than 100 times while still in splits.
Ravi Shastri inquired, “Babar Biryani kaisa tha (How was the Biryani?). “I’ve explained 100 times already. We enjoyed it and it was fantastic, according to what I’d heard about Hyderabadi biryani, said Babar.
Notably, a number of videos showing the Pakistani squad dining in style while visiting Hyderabad have gone popular on social media. In a humorous video posted by the ICC (International Cricket Council), when they were asked to choose between Hyderabadi Biryani and Karachi Biryani, the cricketers even evaluated the Hyderabadi delicacy.
Haris Rauf gave Hyderabadi Biryani a score of 20, whereas Babar Azam said it was a little spicier than Karachi’s.
