The Champions Trophy 2025’s second match between India and Bangladesh is scheduled for February 20 at Dubai’s Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
India just defeated England 3-0 in the One-Day International series. They want to maintain the momentum and get the tournament off to a good start. However, Bangladesh has had difficulty in the ICC events; they are inexperienced, but their poor performance record in these events has always followed them.
After winning the toss, Najmul Hossain Shanto chose to bat first. The decision was made by Bangladesh to use three spinners. However, India welcomed back Ravindra Jadeja and dropped Varun Chakaravarthy from the previous ODI. Regarding pace, India has substituted Harshit Rana for Arshdeep Singh in the starting lineup.
“We want to take the field first. We want to score runs because the wicket seems nice. The boys are confident, and we played fantastic cricket today. At the toss, Shanto declared, “Three spinners, two spinners for us.”
“I would have been the first to field.” We felt that the ball performs better under lights because we had played here a few years prior. Everything appears to be fine. Everyone is well enough to go. I hope we get off to a good start. Every game in this competition becomes crucial, and there is no turning back. “Only Varun missed the last ODI we played, while Jadeja returned, Arshdeep missed, and Shami returned,” Rohit remarked.
