Amit Mishra, a leg-spin bowler for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), said that his team’s five-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) was due to his careful analysis of the playing conditions and his ability to imagine the shots that batters would play against him. In the current Indian Premier League, Mishra’s two wickets were a big reason why LSG beat SRH (IPL). He got rid of Washington Sundar and Adil Rashid of England, limiting the other team to a score of 121/8.
Amit Mishra said that the reason he did well in the game was that he tried to read the wicket better and did nothing else.
He also said that he was happy with how he did and with the team’s win, which gave him confidence for the next match.
“I didn’t do anything special. I just tried to get a better feel for the wicket by figuring out what kind of shots the batters would play against my bowling. And I did have some luck. I’m happy with how I did and that the team won, which gave us confidence for the next game. “Amit Mishra said this at the press conference after the game.
Amit Mishra said that LSG’s plan was to bring in Ravi Bishnoi early because his skittish balls could be hard for batters to hit. The leg-spinner, who was 22 years old, started bowling in the seventh over and got rid of Harry Brook in the ninth.
“When the ball is new, it skids a lot. We put Bishnoi in first because his ball skids, which gives batters little time to react. I was brought in 13 hours late because I like to spin the ball. When the ball is a little older, it spins more, and I can use my googly and other variations better. The plan was to do that, “he said.
