For the first time since 2012, Virat Kohli will participate in a Ranji Trophy game. With Delhi’s final Ranji Trophy 2024–25 league match against Railways set to start on January 30, he will be back in white. Fans will swarm the stands to watch the star batter play as the former India captain returns to action at the legendary Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Aware of the excitement that Kohli’s return home has generated, the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has added 10,000 seats so that supporters may see the legend play. Fortunately for those fans who are unable to attend, the game will be televised live on Sports 18, the official broadcaster of the Ranji Trophy. It will be available for live streaming on the Jio Cinema website and app.
Following the conclusion of the Ranji tournament, Kohli will resume his national responsibilities as India plays England in a three-match ODI series at home, with the opening encounter scheduled for February 6 in Nagpur. The Champions Trophy 2025 preparation is said to be aided by the series. On February 20, India will play their opening match of the multi-team competition against Bangladesh.
