At Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are playing their 27th game of the 2025 Indian Premier League. Shreyas Iyer, the captain of PBKS, won the toss and decided to bat first, a move that paid off handsomely. With a staggering 245 runs in their 20 overs, the PBKS hitters put on an incredible display.
SRH openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma came out firing as they chased a formidable goal. They quickly reached 76 runs in just five overs, smashing the PBKS bowlers to every corner of the pitch.
Kiwi pacer Lockie Ferguson entered the attack to bowl the last over of the powerplay.
But Lockie Ferguson looked uneasy after only two balls had been delivered. During his run-up, he gripped his left quadriceps and started to hobble, obviously unable to continue. In order to evaluate the issue, the physio hurried onto the pitch. Finally, Ferguson was forced to leave the pitch, and Marcus Stoinis finished the over.

On the other hand, the Sunrisers Hyderabad openers, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have gone mad as they smashed 171 in 12.2 overs, right when Travis Head lost his wicket and had to walk back to the pavilion. Head smashed 66 runs off 37 balls, whereas Abhishek Sharma smashed a 40-ball century.
