An petition went viral on social media a few days ago, asking fans for the RCB-KKR match to wear white as a symbolic nod to Virat Kohli‘s Test career history.
But Kohli did not acknowledge the fans who had flocked to the stadium and stayed for hours in spite of the heavy rain. It is related to a few reasons. The main cause of this is the constant rain, which prevented Kohli from actually leaving the dugout. It’s also worth noting that most of the spectators had already departed the field before the game was cancelled, and the precipitation significantly decreased after that.
