[WATCH] IPL 2025: Yashasvi Jaiswal mauls Arshdeep Singh in 22-run over in RR vs PBKS match

On Sunday, May 18, during Match 59 of the IPL 2025 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Yashasvi Jaiswal escorted Arshdeep Singh to the dry cleaners. It was exactly the kind of start the Rajasthan Royals would have wanted, chasing 220.

The first and third deliveries were stroked away for boundaries as the aggressive southpaw swiped hard.

For his second over inside the powerplay, the left-armer, meanwhile, came back from the opposite end. But this time, the 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s bat did the talking as he got rid of the cunning bowler for 16 runs.

After choosing to bat first earlier in the evening, PBKS amassed 219/5 thanks to top scorer Nehal Wadhera (70 off 37), Shashank Singh’s explosive 30-ball 59-run blitz, and Azmatullah Omarzai (unbeaten 21 off nine), who propelled the visitors to a commanding total. Tushar Deshpande took two wickets despite Riyan Parag being the most economical bowler for RR.
