Yusuf Pathan, a former all-rounder for India, expressed an entirely distinct philosophy regarding how Dhoni can continue playing.
Yusuf Pathan believes that the introduction of the Impact Player rule will allow the 41-year-old to continue playing for another five years.
“The new Impact Player clause allows Dhoni to continue playing for another five years, in my opinion. Others have discussed his retirement, whereas he has remained silent. He has a great deal of cricket left in him. Despite knee pain, he has struck several sixes in the IPL. This demonstrates his dedication to the sport, as Pathan explained to ESPN Cricinfo.
The CSK, led by MS Dhoni, are currently in second place in the standings with 15 points after 13 matches. The four-time IPL champions will face the ninth-placed DC, hoping to win convincingly in order to guarantee a top-two finish and a match against the Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1.
