Yuvraj Singh has done an amazing job of developing talents behind the scenes and giving them the opportunity to improve their skills before competing for slots in the senior national squad. In the past, the great former India all-rounder coached Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma to develop their cricket. Now, the Punjab combo is opening the batting for India in the Asia Cup, annihilating opposition bowlers. Gill has also been named the captain of the Indian Test team.
Both Gill and Abhishek have praised Yuvraj Singh assistance to their careers.
Now, the 43-year-old has been observed training Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh. This duo opened for the Punjab Kings in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) and wowed the crowd with their thrilling strokeplay.
The Punjab Kings posted an image of Arya and Prabhsimran’s training session with Yuvraj with the caption “Learning from the OG #YuvrajSingh.” In fact, the Chandigarh native was the Punjab Kings’ debut captain in the 2008 IPL season.

Prabhsimran has been chosen to India A’s team for a three-match one-day series against Australia A, which will take place at Green Park in Kanpur from September 30 to October 5. He is anticipated to play all three matches, with Abishek Porel the other wicketkeeper in the squad. Arya has also been selected for the team, although only for the first match.
Earlier this year, Prabhsimran scored 549 runs in 17 innings, averaging 32.29 and striking out 160.53. Meanwhile, Arya scored 475 runs in 17 innings, averaging 27.94 with a strike rate of 179.25.
Prabhsimran and Arya’s practice sessions with Yuvraj are surely going to be beneficial for them as they look to impress the selectors while playing against a strong Australia A side.
