Afghanistan needed a miracle to win here. Fazalhaq Farooqi tried his best by taking two quick wickets but there were short of runs dearly. Only Azmatullah Omarzai clicked with the bat which was clearly not enough. Afghanistan win the series but would have loved to wrap the series with a better performance.
A dominating performance by Bangladesh and they have avoided the whitewash on the back of good performance. The bowlers did a great job to restrict Afghanistan to such a score. The likes of Shoriful Islam, Taskin Ahmed and the spinners did well to keep it neat and clean. Discipline and wickets early on was the key for Bangladesh in this match.
