The bowlers struggled early on, leaking runs, and their sloppy fielding - dropping over five catches only added to their woes. They had no solution to Anamul Haque's aggressive batting. However, the turnaround came in the last three overs when Mehidy Hasan, Salman Irshad, and especially Hasan Mahmud rose to the occasion, shifting the momentum in their favor. With this win, the Tigers finally break their four-match losing streak.
Earlier in the match, Khulna Tigers put up an imposing total, powered by blistering fifties from Afif Hossain and William Bosisto, along with handy cameos from Mohammad Naim, Mehidy Hasan, and Mahidul Islam Ankon. On the bowling front for Durbar Rajshahi, Taskin Ahmed claimed two wickets while Jishan Alam added one to his tally, but most of the bowlers ended up conceding runs at a high rate.

Despite Haque reaching his maiden BPL century, they had to face a close defeat.
What a finish by Hasan Mahmud! He held his nerve and delivered pinpoint yorkers in the final over to seal a nail-biting victory in Chattogram. A special mention to Anamul Haque, who lit up the game with his maiden BPL century but fell agonizingly short of taking his team across the line.

Ryan Burl shuffles across and looks to scoop it over the short third fielder but does not get enough power on it and loops it up towards short third. Hasan Mahmud backtracks well and grabs it with his fingers pointing upwards and rolls down to absorb the take. The third umpire checks the legitimacy of the catch and it is given out in the end. 17 needed for 6 balls now!
