For Chittagong Kings, not sure what was the plan after choosing to bat first as their batters really struggled to read the conditions. Dhaka Capitals came up with a perfect plan, to bowl pace off deliveries and use spinners effectively and it just didn't allow Chittagong Kings to get off the shells. A couple of their batters got off to a start but no one played a big innings. A lot of appreciation to Dhaka bowlers who bowled well throughout the innings. A big win for Dhaka Capitals in the context of the season and this could give them a lot of confidence.
A comfortable win for Dhaka Capitals and they keep their hopes alive for the playoffs. They really were on top of their game, be it batting, bowling or fielding. Chasing an under par total, Das and Hasan laid the foundation perfectly. Das played the second fiddle but Hasan lit the ground with his breathstroking strikes. Das struggled through his innings and so did Munim Shahriar but Tanzid Hasan remained unbeaten and made sure his team got over the line.
