A lot of credit to the Tigers bowlers. They were under the pump by some incredible hitting by Tanzid Hasan but made full use of the conditions right after the powerplay. The spinners grabbed the bulk of the wickets. Hasan Mahmud though bowled a magical spell, he conceded just 5 runs while picking two wickets. Dhaka Capitals had a good chance to ruin Khulna Tigers' party but eventually, they came to the receiving end.
Chasing an under par total, Mehidy Hasan once again led from the front by opening the innings. He played one helluva innings and made a mockery of a run chase. Hasan did slowed down but his fifty almost killed the game and after that it was matter of time before Khulna Tigers cross the finishing line.
Khulna Tigers means buisness! It was a must win for Khulna Tigers to make the top four and they have played with authority to book the playoffs berth. They replace Rajshahi who miss out on the next round. Meanwhile, Dhaka Capitals had nothing but to play for pride but they fail to end the season on a high.
