The beginning was far too slow for Khulna! They fell well behind in the game as they just couldn't get the runs flowing at the start. Afir though provided the much needed impetus. Naim then hit top gear. He was the highlight with the bat for them. He got them really close but just couldn't take them over the line.
They were excellent for the first 15 overs with the ball. The likes of Nabi, Jahandad Khan and Faheem Ashraf made it very difficult for the opposition to score. They ended up pushing the required run rate to over 15. Islam and Mondol though really took a pounding. Mondol had 24 to defend in the last over, it came down to 13 in 3 but the youngster held his nerve and helped his side come up on top.
A really good game in the end! Khulna Tigers came really close but it is Fortune Barishal who have come out on top. They held their nerve this time in the last over and now have made it three wins in three games.
