They fell well short of that as yet again their batters struggled against the Pakistan spinners. This time it was Abrar and Sajid who took 9 between them. Alick Athanaze was the only positive for West Indies as he scored a fighting half ton but the rest just surrendered.
In their second innings, the Pakistan top order started really well but we saw a massive collapse on Day 3. The hosts slipped from 109 for 3 to 157 all out. Jomel Warrican was brilliant as he bagged a seven-fer and was involved in two run outs. That saw West Indies needing 250 runs which in itself was going to be a tough task.
The hosts’ spinners then came to the fore, the likes of Sajid and Ali ran through the West Indian batting line up and helped their side gain a lead just around 100 which is quite a big one on such surfaces. Sajid Khan took wickets of top four batters in both innings. Ali took a five-fer in first innings while his partner in crime did in the final innings.
West Indies on the other hand, will be disappointed, they had their moments but failed to capitalise on it. They had Pakistan in trouble on Day 1 at 46 for 4 but excellent knocks from Rizwan and Shakeel, helped the hosts get to a competitive total on a wicket which was turning square from Day 1.
A comprehensive win then for the hosts! Sajid Khan leads the victorious team. His teammates do his famous slap on the thigh celebration along with him. Shan Masood, from struggling to win even a single game in his first few games as Test captain has now won three games in a row at home. A commendable effort from the Pakistan side.

Abrar Ahmed 27/4(11.3)
OUT! BOWLED! END! Abrar Ahmed ends with four fer! Floats it full and on off, Warrican shapes for the reverse sweep but it stays low and probably takes the edge as it rolls back onto the stumps. Pakistan win by 127 runs.
