States that the boys deserve to get the win. Adds that they love the crowd here who always come out to support them. Feels that the conditions are always nice for both teams and the surface is batter-friendly. On the New Year's Eve fixture, he replies that they love playing that game here and he is looking forward to the occasion this season.
Time for the presentation ceremony....
Thunder will be disappointed, bowling is considered to be their strength and that is what is let them down here. The likes of Liam Hatcher, Daniel Sams and Zaman Khan were quite expensive. Yes, Sams and Khan did come back strongly towards the end but that was not enough. They just did not adapt to the surface and failed to take wickets when mattered. In the end, it is another loss for the Thunder and it is the first win for the hosts.
What a knock that was from Adam Hose! Absolutely brilliant from him. When he walked out, his side was in a spot of bother but it is his cameo which has won Adelaide the game here. The foundation though was laid by the openers, both D'Arcy Short and Matthew Short added over 100. The former played as the perfect foil and both scored half tons. It seemed like Adelaide would cruise to this massive score but once Matthew Short fell, run-scoring got a little tough. Also, a couple of wickets saw the Thunder get back into the game. However, Adam Hose towards the end, played a brilliant knock to take his side over the line.

Two! That should have never been two! A yorker on the pads, this is jammed through square leg. They take one. Go for the second. The throw is towards the keeper who does not collect it as there is a bad bounce. 2 needed in 3 now.

FOUR! That is magic, that is absolutely brilliant from Adam Hose! He shapes up to play the paddle scoop but this is bowled wide outside off, he instead, plays the reverse paddle scoop and it beats short third man to a boundary.
Jamie OvertonĀ comes out to bat now but it will be Adam HoseĀ on strike.

OUT! RUN OUT! That is very lazy from Jake Weatherald! Really poor from him. Especially at this time of the game. Way too casual. This is a slower one on middle, Jake Weatherald looks to hit it over cover but he gets an inside edge onto the pads. It rolls towards the right of Zaman who slips. He gets back on his feet, picks the ball up and hits the stumps at his end. It is taken upstairs. Replays show that Jake Weatherald did not ground his bat. He thought he would get in easily. Another twist in this game. However, Adam Hose is back on strike. 8 needed in 5.
It will beĀ Zaman KhanĀ to bowl the final over. A brave call considering that he has conceded 31Ā runs so far from his 3 overs. Can he defend 7 runs here?

FOUR! Just the 8 needed in the last over. Adelaide Strikers' game to lose. Adam Hose with another innovate stroke which gets him a boundary! On middle, Adam Hose goes down on one knee and lifts it over the short fine leg fielder. Not sure if that was the right ball with fine leg and the square leg up in the ring.
