Kerala did well with the new ball but as the day progressed, the wicket got flatter and the bowlers couldn't cause a lot of trouble. They'll hope the last run out opens the floodgates and they can get a few early wickets quickly or they'll Vidarbha will be onto a big first innings score. A fine day of cricket! It began with Kerala dominating the proceedings with three quick wickets but then came the stand which turned the tide towards Vidarbha! Nair and Malewar batted brilliantly. They added over 200 before Nair was run out 15 short of a ton. Malewar was the highlight with a fine ton and his side will hope he can continue the good work along with the batters to come.
